Should I just buy state minimum liability limits?
If you don’t have any savings or assets, minimal liability insurance coverage might be sufficient yet it would not be enough to take care of severe injuries or to repair/replace a newer automobile. Without sufficient coverage, your future wages may be garnished to cover the damages you trigger.
If you only have the state-required $10,000 property damage and wreck a car worth say $20,000, the insurance provider will pay the $10,000 but you are accountable for the rest.
Essentially, you are self-insuring for anything over the insurance limits you have purchased. If you do not want to have your salary garnished or your properties sold off, seriously take into consideration purchasing greater limits of liability.
May I drive a car I recently purchased without insurance coverage?
You cannot legally drive an automobile without having insurance. Even if you recently bought it. Washington state mandates all cars or trucks driven on public roads to be insured. The fact that you recently acquired the vehicle does not change the requirement.
Thankfully, if all of your currently owned automobiles are insured with one insurance company then the insurance coverage on those cars and trucks conveniently transfers for a few days (consult with your insurance provider to find out specifically how long).
If every one of your vehicles are not insured with a single insurer, you will certainly want to call your insurer before you drive off with the car. If you do not have insurance, you should call Mid-Columbia Insurance prior to driving off with the car

They understand it works.

- Raise your deductibles.

- Stop receiving tickets like others gather Pokemon.
- Only take the coverages you must have.

About Battle Ground
Battle Ground is a city in Clark County, Washington, United States. The population was 17,571 at the 2010 census. Between 2000 and 2005, Battle Ground ranked fourth in the state for population growth, out of 279 eligible incorporated communities. As of 2019, its population is 21,252.
Battle Ground got its name from a standoff between a group of the Klickitat peoples and a military force from the Vancouver Barracks, which had recently transitioned to a U.S. Army post. In 1855, when this occurred, the Klickitat peoples had been imprisoned at the Vancouver Barracks. The hostile conditions of their detainment inspired some of the Klickitats to decamp.
This group of Klickitat peoples headed North, led by Chief Umtuch ( or Umtux, according to some accounts). When the community at Fort Vancouver discovered this escape, they assembled an armed contingent led by Captain William Strong to pursue the Klickitats. After great difficulty, Captain Strong’s party found the Klickitats near the present-day location of downtown Battle Ground.
