Should I simply get state minimum liability limits?
If you have no savings or assets, minimum liability coverage may be enough but it would not suffice to take care of serious injuries or to repair/replace a newer automobile. Without adequate insurance coverage, your future earnings may be garnished to cover the damages you create.
If you just are carrying the state-required $10,000 property damage and strike a vehicle worth say $20,000, the insurance company will certainly pay the $10,000 however you will be accountable for the rest.
Essentially, you are self-insuring for anything over the insurance coverage limits you have actually selected. If you do not intend to have your salary garnished or your properties sold off, seriously take into consideration buying greater limits of liability.
May I drive an automobile I just purchased without insurance?

Thankfully, if all of your existing owned automobiles are insured with one insurer then the coverage on those autos automatically transfers for a few days (contact your insurance company to learn exactly the length of time).

It is really simple for an agent to have a lower price tag if they are giving lower coverage or are not taking account of the exact same tickets and wrecks. Be sure you’re receiving a proper comparison. Select the exact same package of protections, limits, and deductibles and the exact same driving MVR for every quote you obtain.

Often the least expensive price is not the best value. Are you getting the coverage you require? Does the insurance policy have coverages and exclusions that are reasonable to you?

If you are merely looking for the most affordable rate you have a number of options:
- Stop receiving tickets like others collect Pokemon.
- Get quotes from a number of insurers. Each insurance company weighs rating aspects in a different way so prices can vary by hundreds of dollars. As an independent agency, Mid-Columbia Insurance automatically shops several insurers for you.
- Just take the protections you have to have.
- Raise your deductibles.

About Maple Valley
Maple Valley is a city in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 22,684 at the 2010 census, and is estimated to be 27,202 as of 2019. The city functions as a commuter town for residents, though there is an increasing amount of commercial activity in the area.
The area was settled in 1879 by three men who were improving a trail and brought their families in. When a name for a future community was proposed, the names Vine Maple Valley and Maple Ridge were suggested. A vote was taken by writing the names on slips of paper and placing them in a hat. Vine Maple Valley won by 2/3, but the word “Vine” was later cut by the post office because it made the name too long.
The town’s early history mainly had to do with coal, lumber milling to build homes, and a railroad that ran through town. Coal was brought in from Black Diamond to the south, but the town itself also mined coal from Cedar Mountain. The mine was used as late as 1947. Rail workers for lines like the Northern Pacific Railroad and the Cedar River Watershed, closed off by the City of Seattle, meant more workers for those things. More residents meant more lumber milling. More lumber milling meant more workers. Suquamish tribe chairperson Martha George was born near Maple Valley in Sheridan in 1892, at a logging camp where her mother and grandmother worked as cooks.”
