Should I just buy state minimum liability limits?
If you don’t have any savings or assets, minimum liability insurance coverage might be adequate yet it would not suffice to cover major injuries or to repair/replace a new car. Without adequate coverage, your future earnings may be garnished to cover the damages you trigger.
If you only are carrying the state-required $10,000 property damage and hit a car or truck worth say $20,000, the insurer will pay the $10,000 however you will be responsible for the rest.
Essentially, you are self-insuring for anything over the insurance coverage limits you have purchased. If you do not intend to have your earnings garnished or your properties sold off, seriously consider acquiring greater limits of liability.
Should I drive a cars or truck I recently purchased without insurance coverage?
You can’t by law drive a car without having insurance. Even if you just purchased it. Washington state requires all cars driven on public roadways to be insured. The fact that you just now purchased the automobile does not alter the requirement.
Thankfully, if all of your currently owned autos are covered with one insurance provider then the coverage for those automobiles by default transfers for a couple of days (contact your insurance company to learn specifically for how long).
If all your automobiles are not insured with one insurer, you will wish to call your insurer prior to driving off the lot. If you do not have an insurance policy, you ought to call Mid-Columbia Insurance before you drive off with the car

About Fall City
Fall City is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. Located 25 miles (40 km) east of Seattle, the community lies along the Snoqualmie River. The population was 1,993 at the 2010 census.
The first settlements in the area were two forts built in 1856 during the Puget Sound War to protect future settlers against possible uprisings by the native population. Fort Patterson, a few miles downstream, and Fort Tilton, a few miles upstream, were built with the help of Indians led by Chief Patkanim, and both were abandoned within two years after interactions with the local tribes remained peaceful. A historical marker can be found north of Fall City on the Fish Hatchery Road where Fort Tilton once stood.
A trading post was established near the present-day location of the Last Frontier Saloon in 1869 and became a hub of the local economy. Fall City was known at the time as “The Landing”, as shallow water and rapids upstream on the Snoqualmie were impassable to the large dugout canoes used for transporting goods. In the early 1870s the first local mill in the Snoqualmie Valley was opened at the mouth of Tokul Creek, just downstream from Snoqualmie Falls and just upstream from where Fall City would be. The Fall City post office opened June 10, 1872.
